Description
Seán Tyrrell and Áine Tyrrell perform two of John Boyle O'Reilly's poems which Seán set to music on his first album (Cry of a Dreamer/Only From Day To Day). The songs were performed in 2016 at Hamer Hall in Melbourne as part of the Exile: Songs & Tales of Irish Australia. The show itself was a musical history of one of Australia's most important immigrant stories and the contribution of John Boyle O'Reilly's poems was an important lifelong mission of Seán to highlight in his music and life's work.
